2020 High School Registration - Grades 9-12

High School Registration Information


Football Player Registration is $600. 

If you are a NEW PLAYER to the Harrison Hoya Football Program please contact Coach Dickmann at before starting to participate in the program.

Important Information:

  • CONCESSION DEPOSIT - All families are required to work concession shifts. A deposit of $350 will be collected at the POT LUCK DINNER. If you sign in and work all of your assigned shifts then your concession deposit check will be returned at the end of the season. Failure, at any time, to work your assigned shift will result in your check being cashed immediately.
  • If you are registering more than one player the SIBLING DISCOUNT will apply. The first player is full price with a $25 discount per player after that.
  • Please note that the FCA Camp or any "by invitation only" camp is an additional fee which will be collected by Coach Dickmann.

All players are required to have a completed physical form before they can participate. 

All 7 pages of the Cobb County Physical Form must be completed and uploaded into the Parent Vue Website. Instructions can be found here.

A hard copy must also be turned into Coach Dickmann.

As a reminder, all student athletes must have a 2020-2021 physical on file prior to participation in practices, skill developments, scrimmages, and school-sanctioned workouts.

(a) Physical examinations will be good for twelve (12) months from the date of the exam. EXCEPTION: Any physical examination taken on or after April 1 in the preceding year will be accepted for the following GHSA school year.

(b) The physical exam must be conducted by a licensed medical physician, doctor of Osteopathic medicine, nurse practitioner or a physician’s assistant.

(c) The exam must be signed by an M.D. or D.O., but the doctor's stamp is acceptable if it is in script, and if information appears elsewhere on the form identifying him/her as a medical doctor.(d) The GHSA requires that member schools use the latest edition of the preparticipation physical evaluation form approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics, et. al., found in the “GHSA Forms Notebook.”

Due to the current COVID-19 challenges, GHSA has approved an exception to allow physicals that are valid through the end of this school year (20 May, 2020) to be valid through July 27, 2020 which is the first official date for practice for 2020-2021. This should assist in scheduling physicals this summer with family personal physicians. Currently, there are no plans for a physical day at Cobb County schools. Therefore, athletes will need to get 2020-2021 physicals completed at a personal physician office.

To Summarize:

1. Athletes with physicals valid through the end of this school year (20May2020) are given an exception through July 27, 2020. At that time a new physical for 2020-2021 must be on file prior to participation.

2. Any athlete whose physical expired prior to the end of the school year must have a current physical on file prior to participation.

3. Any student new to your school must have a current physical on file prior to participation. If the student is a transfer and brings a physical with them, it must meet the criteria listed above.

4. Physicals need to be uploaded into CCSD ParentVUE under Athletic Registration prior to participation in any sporting activities. Instructions are attached to this communication for your reference


The High School roster will be finalized by Coach Dickmann. If your child leaves the program on or prior the roster finalization, you will receive a full refund less a $50 facilities fee and a $50 administrative fee.

After roster finalization, refunds will be determined as follows:

  • Prior to July 1, a full refund minus $100 for administrative and facility fees.
  • After July 1 and prior to August 1, a full refund minus $250.
  • After Fall practice has started but before 2 weeks of practice has taken place, a full refund less $350.
  • No refunds will be given after the 2nd week of HS Fall practice.

*In these uncertain times, in event of a season cancellation, a partial refund will be considered. 

If you are registering more than one player in your family this season, you will receive a $25 discount on the second, or more, child's registration fee. In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at the same time. Discounts will appear automatically at checkout.
