Braeden Langford

Coach Langford is entering his 1st year with the Harrison Hoyas and 5th year as a high school
football coach. Coach Langford was a graduate of Harrison High School back in 2016. After his
years as a student-athlete at Harrison, Coach Langford attended the University of Georgia, where he studied Kinesiology to obtain his teaching certification in health and physical education. By 2018, Coach Langford’s passion for football led to his first job as middle and high school football coach. Over the past 4 years, Coach Langford has served as a varsity football coach for both Prince Avenue Christian School and Worth County High School. One of Coach Langford’s greatest accomplishments in his first few years as a high school football coach, includes a GHSA State Championship with Prince Avenue back in 2020.

Matt Dickmann

Matt Dickmann (Coach D) is a graduate of the University of Toledo. This is his 36th year as a
teacher/strength coach and 35 th year as a football coach. He spent his first 25.5 years in Palm Beach County, Florida and his last 10 at Harrison High School.
As an assistant and an offensive coordinator in Florida, he helped lead the Jupiter Warriors to 10 play-off appearances in 14 years. At Seminole Ridge, also in Florida, the team won a State Championship title in weightlifting in 2011 and were district champions for 3 straight years in football. He was named coach of the year 4 times in Florida.

In 2016, the Harrison Hoya football team had their best season since 2002 posting a 10-2 record, before being knocked out in the second round of the play-offs. The team also posted its highest ranking since 2007. Coach Dickmann was named the 2016 All-County coach of the year by the MDJ and by the AJC. In 2017, the Hoyas won the region title for the first time since 2005 and reached the 3 rd round of the play-offs for the 1 st time in 15 years. The Hoyas highest state ranking that year was second. Coach D was named Region 6-AAAAAA 2017 coach of the year.

In 2019, the Hoyas won the 6AAAAA Region, set Cobb County history by being the first team to go 15-0 and won the class 6A State Championship. Coach D was named 2019 Region 6AAAAAA, Metro Atlanta, MDJ, Cobb County Touchdown Club and Atlanta Touchdown Club coach of the year. In 2020, the Hoyas made the play-offs for the 5 th straight year but here knocked out in the second round to the eventual state champion, Grayson High School. After the 2020 season, Coach D stepped down as head coach. However, he continued as strength coach for the football team. He rejoined the football staff in 2022 as head freshman football coach.

Coach D loves to help others reach their full potential as a person, student and athlete.
He and his wife, Kelly, have been married for 24 years and have two beautiful daughters: Jaycie (21) and Kylie (18) with whom he enjoys spending his free time.
