2024 HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION – Grades 9th – 12th

HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Football Player Registration is $750, this fee includes registration + game meals.

 

Registration will open March 12, 2024 with full payment due by June 30, 2024 to receive a free registration hoodie. No exceptions will be made after June 30th.

 

If you are a NEW PLAYER to the Harrison Hoya Football Program, please contact Coach Salam before starting to participate in the program.

Important Information:

  • CONCESSION DEPOSIT – All families are required to work concession shifts. A deposit of $350 will be collected at the POTLUCK DINNER. If you sign in and work all of your assigned shifts, then your concession deposit check will be returned at the end of the season. Failure, at any time, to work your assigned shift will result in your check being cashed immediately.
  • If you are registering more than one player, the SIBLING DISCOUNT will apply. The first player is full price with a $25 discount per player after that.
  • Please note that the FCA Camp or any “by invitation only” camp is an additional fee which will be collected by Coach Salam.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS
All players are required to have a completed physical form before they can participate.

All pages of the Cobb County Physical Form must be completed and uploaded to the Parent Vue Website. Instructions can be found here.

HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS – An electronic copy must also be turned into Coach Salam.

As a reminder, all student-athletes must have a 2024-2025 physical on file prior to participation in practices, skill developments, scrimmages, and school-sanctioned workouts.

(a) Physical examinations will be good for twelve (12) months from the date of the exam. EXCEPTION: Any physical examination taken on or after April 1st  in the preceding year will be accepted for the following GHSA school year.

(b) The physical exam must be conducted by a licensed medical physician, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, nurse practitioner or a physician’s assistant.

(c) The exam must be signed by an M.D. or D.O., but the doctor’s stamp is acceptable if it is in script, and if information appears elsewhere on the form identifying him/her as a medical doctor. (d) The GHSA requires that member schools use the latest edition of the preparticipation physical evaluation form approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics et al., found in the “GHSA Forms Notebook.”

 

 

HIGH SCHOOL REFUND POLICY

The High School roster will be finalized by Coach Salam. If your child leaves the program on or prior to the roster finalization, you will receive a full refund less a $50 facilities fee and a $50 administrative fee.

After roster finalization, refunds will be determined as follows:

  • Prior to July 1, 2024, you will receive a refund of 60% for administrative and facility fees.
  • From July 1  – July 21, 2024, you will receive a refund of 35%.
  • No refunds will be given after July 22, 2024

2024 JR Program Registration - Grades 6-8 (Expand this section)

2024 JR PROGRAM REGISTRATION – Grades 6th-8th

JRP Football Player Registration is $675 (includes Junior Program Football Summer Camp).

Registration will open on March 12, 2024, and full payment is due by June 30, 2024, to receive a free registration hoodie. No exceptions will be made after June 30th.

If you are a CURRENT PLAYER already registered for the 2024 Harrison season, you do not have to pay separately for the Junior Program Football Summer Camp. It is included in your 2024 Hoya Football registration.

If you are a NEW PLAYER to the Harrison Hoya Program, you will need to pay separately to register for the Junior Program Football Summer Camp.

JUNIOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Important Information:

  • CONCESSION DEPOSIT—All families are required to work 3 concession shifts per player and a cleanup day per family. A deposit of $350 will be collected at equipment distribution. If you sign in and work all your assigned shifts, your concession deposit check will be returned at the end of the season. Failure to work your assigned shift at any time will result in your check being cashed immediately.
  • Fundraising: All Families are required to participate in fundraising unless they choose to pay the $350 opt-out fee.
  • JR Program Equipment Deposit – A deposit of $350 for football-issued equipment will be required at equipment pickup. The deposit will be returned at the completion of the season when the equipment is returned in serviceable condition. Failure to return equipment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Players must reside in the Harrison High School district to be eligible to participate. Please visit CCSD Transportation to confirm your player is eligible to attend Harrison High School. If there are questions regarding your player’s eligibility, please contact Erin Richardson, our membership coordinator, at membership@harrisonhoyafootball.com

Players will not receive equipment until they have completed online registration, paid registration fees and deposits, and submitted all required documents. All documents must be turned in at equipment distribution.

  • Equipment Distribution dates – Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, April 23, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Spring Practice begins April 29 – May 18, 2024
  • Mandatory Junior Program Camp (6th-8th) – July 15 – July 18, 2024, from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm fee is included with the registration fee. *Dues must be paid in full in order to participate.
  • The first day of the 2024 Fall Practice is July 22. *To participate, you must pay your dues in full.

 

Junior Program REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be determined as follows:

  • From April 1st – July 14, 2024, you will receive a refund of 60%.
  • From July 15th – July 212024, you will receive a refund of 35%.
  • No refunds will be given after July 21, 2024.
